‘Staging’ your home with the help of an interior designer/house doctor can speed the sale and chances of selling your property and often improve its value.
As a qualified interior designer with over 10 years professional working experience as well as renovating and presenting properties I have all the skills and qualifications necessary to carry out any ‘house staging’ process with great confidence and ease.

You’ve probably been living in your property for some years so you’ve become familiar with it, your eyes now don’t see what other people see, sometimes what you need is a fresh pair of eyes to see what’s really there, what’s become worn and tired, sometimes cluttered and messy without you even realising, as quite naturally you’re comfortable in your own familiar surroundings.

House Report
This service involves a consultation with the House Doctor in your house, identifying the key problems that may hinder the sale of your property. Following this consultation you will be sent your detailed house report this will explain step by step the changes that need to be made in each room, if necessary included with this may be sketches and or sample/mood boards to help explain more fully any changes needed. Items covered within the report -
- Creating that all important kerb appeal ‘First impressions’
- De personalisation
- De cluttering (ready for your move)
- Existing furniture repositioning

One-day makeover scheme
Using the house report, together we can put it into action, spending the whole day with you, rearranging existing furniture, redressing rooms and accessorising (sometimes these can be borrowed from my store) to achieve a relaxed, comfortable and more spacious feeling in the house or to define the function of a room whilst emphasizing its best features.

The next level of one-day makeover is, as above, but also I come along with a very small team of professionals to paint any areas necessary and do any last minuite DIY jobs, which you’ve been meaning to finish. |
The house doctor’s report will advise you on the changes required to sell your property keeping costs to a minimum helping you achieve maximum value.
Notice the term House report rather than Home report, this is because you need to stop thinking of it as your home and thinking of it as an asset you need to sell, to move to your new home.
